Will and Jordan Nail fell in love 2017, married in 2018 and started conceptualizing Sudden Ranch in 2019. It started as experimental creative outlet by trying to capture their favorite places and times in candle form.

The name Sudden Ranch is an homage to the place Jordan’s grandmother was raised. It was a working ranch founded in 1883 on the central coast of California where the cliffs meet the Pacific Ocean. Jordan grew up hearing stories of life there and tales of its beauty. Even today the site remains a jewel in ranching history.
